Blackpool students have been enthused by the opportunity Eco Challenge has given them. After their residential, back at school The Blackpool Council Ranger Team have been working with the schools to transform community areas into wildlife havens and improve the schools’ sustainability practices.
‘I have really enjoyed working with the Rangers – especially the tree planting. They have all been really helpful and friendly and have taught us a lot about the environment. It is important to make people aware of the environmental threats faced by people on earth.’
The following Blackpool schools are already involved in Eco Challenge:
Collegiate High School, St Mary's Catholic High School, Bispham High School, Highfield High School
