Nottingham City

We have nearly half of the eligible schools in Nottingham City taking part in project. Students have ventured to Centres across England and Wales and with much enthusiasm for the outside world around them are about to work start work on the post course sessions with Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
‘Having been invited to participate in the project from its early inception I have been particularly impressed by the way in which the FSC have organised, planned and integrated the programme around the needs of the schools. Having observed the programme at first hand I was left in no doubt about the high quality input of the FSC staff, the commitment of participating school staff and the enthusiastic response of the young people themselves. The integration of the residential learning element of the programme is well supported through follow up work back at school thus maximising the learning outcomes for the young people themselves’.
Martin Smith, City of Nottingham Outdoor Education Adviser
